Lighting leader Kichler is set to redefine the traditional trade showroom experience with the upcoming launch of the Kichler Boutique. Slated to open its doors during the fall 2026 High Point Market, the new permanent destination has been created specifically with the professional interior design community in mind, offering an immersive, context-driven environment to explore decorative and integrated lighting systems.

Situated at 201 West High Ave. in High Point, the approximately 3,000-square-foot space represents a significant strategic shift for the brand. Rather than presenting lighting fixtures in a conventional, product-driven trade environment, Kichler has conceived the Boutique as a residentially inspired destination. Within this thoughtfully designed space, lighting is meant to be experienced in true context through carefully layered vignettes, curated product stories, and dedicated zones designed for conversation, discovery, and hospitality.

The establishment of this permanent High Point presence reflects Kichler’s growing focus on the professional design community and underscores the enduring importance of High Point Market as a premier venue for designers to discover products firsthand. To mark its debut, the Boutique will host an exclusive, invitation-only preview on October 16, followed by a robust series of celebratory events during the official High Point Market run from October 17 through October 21.

The rationale behind the new showroom format stems from a deep understanding of how interior designers work and evaluate products. Kristina Christopher, chief marketing officer of Coleto Brands, emphasized the irreplaceable value of seeing lighting fixtures in person.

"Lighting is such an important part of how a space looks and feels, yet there is no substitute for experiencing a fixture in person," said Christopher. "Designers want to see its scale, materials, finish, and the quality of light it creates. As Kichler continues to elevate its product portfolio and deepen its relationship with the design community, we wanted to create a place that feels less like a traditional showroom and more like a destination designers will want to visit. The Kichler Boutique gives us an opportunity to welcome them into the brand in a much more personal and immersive way."

Designed for Discovery

To bring this vision to life, Kichler partnered with High Point-based Barbour Spangle Design to craft an environment that takes its distinct architectural and aesthetic cues from high-end residential interiors rather than a sterile trade showroom. The resulting layout is intentionally crafted to encourage designers to linger, explore, and conceptualize lighting as an integral, foundational layer of a room or an exterior landscape rather than an afterthought.

Throughout the Boutique, decorative lighting fixtures are presented within fully styled vignettes. These displays vividly demonstrate how precise control over scale, materiality, finish, and illumination can fundamentally shape and elevate an interior space. In addition to the product displays, the space incorporates comfortable hospitality areas designed to offer visitors coffee and conversational seating, creating a welcoming and genuinely useful sanctuary for busy professionals navigating the sensory-heavy environment of High Point Market.

Visitors to the Boutique will encounter a carefully curated assortment of Kichler’s best-selling designs displayed alongside new collections introduced throughout 2026, as well as an exclusive early preview of select products slated for release in 2027. This comprehensive curation ensures that design professionals can view both current market favorites and upcoming trends in a single, cohesive setting.

A Collaborative Design Vision

Developing the Kichler Boutique was a deeply collaborative enterprise, drawing on the strengths and product offerings of leading home and design brands to furnish the space. High-end custom cabinetry was provided by Fabuwood, establishing a sophisticated architectural backdrop. This cabinetry is complemented by premium plumbing fixtures from Newport Brass, while James Martin Vanities outfitted the space’s detailed bathroom vignettes and fully functioning powder rooms.

Together, these strategic partnerships help create the rich, layered, and inspiring environment envisioned for the Boutique. More importantly, this collaborative approach allows the breadth of Kichler’s lighting collections to be experienced side-by-side with the exact high-quality materials, finishes, and products that interior designers specify for their clients’ projects every single day.

Kichler at High Point Market

Beyond the launch of its new permanent destination on West High Avenue, Kichler will further extend its presence during the Fall Market through an ongoing partnership with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). This collaboration takes place at the newly expanded Broad Hall, a space also designed by the team at Barbour Spangle Design.

Within Broad Hall, Kichler’s decorative and integrated lighting systems will be prominently featured in two brand-new vignettes. These installations are designed to illustrate how sophisticated, layered lighting schemes can successfully complement and enhance key functional and aesthetic spaces throughout a modern home, reinforcing Kichler’s ongoing commitment to the kitchen and bath design sectors alongside its broader decorative lighting portfolio.
